Weed Elimination

There is nothing more competitive than a weed.

Controlling and eliminating weeds is vital to the success of your crop and your bottom line. Not only do weeds make the field look bad, but the can very quickly damage your crop to the point that you no longer have a sellable product or the pounds per acre are so low that it will be impossible to profitable for the year. 

Timing is critical when it comes to weeds. If you don’t have a plan and all your weeding equipment set up before you plant, it is likely the weeds will severely and irrecoverably damage your crop. We will make and plan and execute it and the weeds for you. 

Weeds damage your crop in the following ways: 

• They rob the desperately needed water and nutrients from the hemp plants and stunt their growth. 

• They shade the hemp plants. The shade then causes the hemp plants to be stunted or grow tall and skinny and therefore reducing greatly the weight of the plant. 

• When weeds are removed too late they damage the root structure of growing hemp plants. 

How and when we control and conquer your weeds. 

• We eliminate them before planting. 

• We cultivate after planting as soon as possible. That is, before the weeds even appear to be a threat. 

• We cultivate 4-5 times during the season to eliminate them and give the hemp plants the greatest advantage.
